Guided by Wabi-Sabi — the beauty of impermanence and imperfection — Saba Haroon folds origami cranes as quiet extensions of herself, creating meditative installations inspired by healing, transformation, and memory.
Born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Saba Haroon grew up surrounded by layered cultural aesthetics and architecture that deeply influenced her artistic language and emotional sensitivity toward form.
After moving to Pakistan, she pursued Fine Arts at the University of Punjab and later Interior Design at NCA, refining her approach toward installation art, spatial storytelling, and meditative visual expression.
“Each fold becomes a silent conversation between fragility and resilience.”
— Saba HaroonHer work draws from Japanese philosophy and symbolism, particularly Wabi-Sabi and the ancient legend of origami cranes representing healing, wishes, peace, and transformation.
